Duelbits took its website offline after attackers stole about $7 million from the crypto gambling platform’s hot wallet, halting operations while the company investigates the breach.

Duelbits co-founder Joe said the team is still examining what happened and how the attack occurred. The platform will remain offline until that investigation is complete.

Joe said user funds are safe. The company’s next steps include replenishing its hot wallet, restoring Duelbits’ operations and launching Duelbits 2.0.

The incident leaves the platform’s service unavailable as it works through the investigation and prepares a return.
