# Bybit CEO Pledges Help to Recover Bitget’s Stolen Crypto

Bybit will help Bitget trace and recover stolen cryptocurrency, extending cooperation between the two exchanges after a security incident, Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou said.

Bybit’s team is prepared to assist Bitget within its capabilities, Zhou said. The exchange plans to update its LazarusBounty platform so it can help follow the movement of the stolen funds and support efforts to recover the assets.

Zhou also pointed to Bitget’s earlier assistance after Bybit was hacked, making the response part of an ongoing exchange-to-exchange security effort.

The next step is Bybit’s planned update to LazarusBounty, which will be used to track the stolen funds and assist with recovery.
