> The exchange is offering 5% rewards for freezing attacker funds and another 5% for helping recover them after its reported asset losses rose to about $387.5 million.

Bitget will publish a plan for restoring cryptocurrency withdrawals by midnight Sept. 26 ET (04:00 UTC), CEO Gracy Chen said as the exchange launched a bounty program to recover assets linked to its security incident.

Bitget is offering a 5% reward for parties that help freeze funds held by attacker addresses and another 5% for assistance that leads to asset recovery. Earlier freezes also qualify for the program, the exchange said.

The estimated value of assets received by attacker addresses has risen to about $387.5 million from $351.6 million. The revised figure includes Zcash and TRON transfers identified during a further review and does not represent additional unauthorized transfers.

Bitget said it has not identified further unauthorized transfers and described the incident as controlled. The exchange has also opened a live fund-tracking dashboard, an information-submission channel and an API for attacker addresses. Leads can also be submitted through Bybit’s LazarusBounty platform.

Withdrawals remain suspended while Bitget works on restoration. The exchange’s deadline is noon Sept. 26 Beijing time, which is midnight ET.
