# Yuga Labs Launches Portal to Return $6 Million in Preserved NFTs

Yuga Labs launched the NFTs Are Safe recovery portal for affected users to reclaim non-fungible tokens (NFTs) secured during a theft incident, with roughly $6 million in assets preserved.

Yuga Labs blockchain vice president Quit announced the portal’s launch on Sept. 25. Users seeking to recover preserved NFTs must first revoke their authorization for PaymentProcessor.

Some assets remain unavailable because they were not preserved. Certain NFT collections also cannot yet be claimed because Transfer Validator restrictions block transfers.

The recovery process uses delegated wallets based on Ethereum’s EIP-7702 standard. Wallets including Rabby may show abnormal transaction simulations or risk warnings during the process.

Yuga Labs plans to coordinate with affected collection teams over the next few days to address the transfer restrictions.
