SpaceX plans to more than double the Nvidia GPU inventory at its Colossus 2 artificial-intelligence supercomputer by the end of 2026, highlighting the scale of Elon Musk’s computing expansion.

Colossus 2 currently has 110,000 Nvidia GB200 chips and 440,000 GB300 chips, for a total of 550,000 processors. Musk said 220,000 additional GB300 chips are scheduled to enter service next week, followed by another 220,000 in November.

A further 220,000 chips could be deployed in December if conditions allow, bringing the planned additions to more than 660,000 chips by year-end. That would lift the system’s potential total above 1.2 million Nvidia processors.

The expansion is centered on Colossus 2, SpaceX’s artificial-intelligence supercomputer project. The next scheduled deployment is set for next week, with further additions planned for November and potentially December.
