# ZachXBT Seeks Help Tracing Funds Tied to $387 Million Bitget Attack

ZachXBT is seeking help tracing funds tied to the $387 million attack on crypto exchange Bitget, saying suspected North Korea-linked launderers are openly soliciting fund-transfer assistance.

The investigator said the individuals are using Discord servers and Telegram channels associated with their activities to seek operational help. The funds are moving across blockchains through cross-chain bridges and are being deposited into mixing services such as Wasabi.

One participant identified as “Alias 4” was previously linked to laundering funds from the $292 million attack on Kelp DAO, ZachXBT said. The investigator also connected the activity to patterns observed after multiple attacks attributed to the North Korea-linked TraderTraitor group.

ZachXBT said the investigation is continuing and that more data is planned for release in the coming weeks.
