# Meta Unveils Muse Charm Device for Its Personal AI Agent

Meta introduced Muse Charm as dedicated hardware for its Muse personal AI agent, extending the service beyond phones and computers as the company develops new ways for users to interact with artificial intelligence.

The pocket-sized device debuted at Meta Connect on Sept. 23. Muse Charm brings Muse’s real-time voice model to portable hardware and is designed to keep the assistant available throughout the day.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg described the device as something that “fits on a keychain and is always available to talk to.” Meta plans to provide more information about Muse Charm later in 2026.

Muse was introduced in the United States on Sept. 8 through iOS, Android and muse.ai. The agent can work across connected applications, browse the web, complete tasks and continue working after users close the app, subject to user approvals.

The dedicated device builds on Meta’s launch of Muse as a personal AI agent. Muse is designed to pursue goals and handle multistep tasks across connected services rather than only respond to individual chatbot prompts.

Meta also plans to bring Muse to its AI glasses in the coming months. The move connects the agent to hands-free hardware while expanding Meta’s broader family of personal AI devices.
