> The AI company posted $4.59 billion in 2025 revenue, while computing and infrastructure costs reached $7.33 billion.

Anthropic’s revenue surged to $4.59 billion in fiscal 2025, but its GAAP net loss expanded to $41.97 billion, highlighting the heavy infrastructure costs behind the artificial-intelligence boom.

Revenue rose 1,088% from $386 million in 2024. The company’s GAAP operating loss also widened, reaching $8.06 billion compared with $2.98 billion a year earlier.

Computing and infrastructure spending climbed 190% to $7.33 billion and accounted for 58% of total operating expenses. The figures underscore the capital demands facing AI companies as they expand model development and related services, a trend relevant to technology and crypto investors focused on computing infrastructure.

Anthropic ended 2025 with $20.28 billion in cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments. Its two largest direct customers each represented 12% of annual revenue, together accounting for 24% of sales.

The company’s IPO prospectus also outlines plans to establish a new founders LLC intended to preserve its stated governance structure. It warns that some governance decisions may conflict with the financial interests of Class A shareholders.
