OpenAI’s annualized revenue run rate is nearing $70 billion, underscoring the expanding commercial scale of generative artificial intelligence for technology and markets investors.

The run rate has grown more than 70% since the start of the third quarter. Enterprise sales have more than doubled since July, while revenue from business-to-business customers has increased by more than 100% over the same period.

OpenAI also added more consumer revenue in the third quarter than it generated in new revenue during all of 2025. The gains point to growth across both corporate and individual customer segments.
