> The integration connects xAI’s chatbot to Liquid portfolios, market data and trading functions across crypto and traditional assets through the Model Context Protocol.

Liquid has connected its Co-Invest trading assistant to xAI’s Grok, giving users a conversational interface for portfolio analysis, market research and trade execution across crypto and traditional markets.

The integration launched Aug. 26 through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which connects Grok to Liquid through an MCP server. The announcement was updated Sept. 22.

Grok can review portfolio information, analyze market headlines and positioning data, and propose trades. Depending on the selected execution mode and user permissions, Co-Invest Computer can simulate trades, prepare staged orders for review or send live orders within configured limits.

Co-Invest can access live prices, funding rates, open interest, positioning data, liquidation maps, market news, portfolios and open orders. Supported markets include crypto perpetuals, U.S. stocks, commodities, major foreign-exchange pairs, indices, pre-IPO names and prediction markets.

Paper trading uses a simulated balance of $10,000 against live market data. Co-Invest has no subscription fee, AI surcharge or spread markup, while standard trading fees and perpetual funding rates still apply.

The account connection cannot withdraw or transfer funds or change account settings. Liquid does not maintain a custodial account balance for users, although collateral committed to an underlying trading venue remains subject to that venue’s margin, liquidation and withdrawal rules.

The Grok integration extends Co-Invest beyond ChatGPT and Claude, combining market research with trade preparation and execution. Liquid’s platform offers more than 500 markets across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange and pre-IPO assets, with leverage of up to 200 times.

In April, Liquid announced an $18 million Series Seed round and said its platform had recorded more than $3 billion in trading volume across 40,000 users since launching in August 2025.

“Markets don’t operate on a schedule anymore, but most trading platforms still do,” Liquid CEO and co-founder Franklyn Wang said.

The product is designed to give everyday users access to AI-powered research and execution tools used by professional quantitative investors.
