# Flink Hackers Seek 100 ETH From Customers After Ransom Refusal

Hackers are seeking a combined 100 ETH from customers of German grocery delivery platform Flink after the company declined to respond to an initial ransom demand, threatening to sell stolen personal data if the target is not reached.

The group calling itself LPG Group is asking individuals for 0.005 ETH each and says the data will be deleted once 100 ETH is collected. The emails reportedly use recipients’ names and Flink-like sender addresses, and include instructions for buying and transferring Ether (ETH).

The breach affected one internal order system used by a Flink Order Hub, a small local warehouse. Flink said unauthorized access was blocked, but the data had already been copied. Exposed information includes customer and employee names, delivery addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. Some records also contained delivery notes, floor numbers and other order details.

Passwords, payment information, credit card details and bank data were not exposed, Flink said. LPG Group claimed it obtained information on more than 1 million customers and 13,000 employees, but Flink has not confirmed those figures.

At least 10,000 customers in the Netherlands received ransom emails. In Germany, Flink had received about 150 customer reports by Saturday and said it had notified customers directly. The campaign turns a corporate ransomware demand into a broader extortion attempt aimed at people whose contact and delivery data was stolen.
