> The July attack removed about $23.75 million from Ostium’s liquidity pool. A second recovery phase will depend on recovered funds and protocol revenue.

Ostium has opened a recovery portal for users affected by its July 15 attack, with 3,321 of the 3,666 impacted wallets eligible for full reimbursement of verified losses in the first phase.

The eligible wallets represent 90.59% of those affected. Users with losses of $1,000 or less can claim the equivalent amount in USD Coin (USDC) directly. Users with larger losses can either accept $1,000 and waive their remaining recovery allocation or enter a second phase that will distribute funds proportionally.

The attack removed about $23.75 million from the Ostium Liquidity Pool (OLP). About 649,967 USDC has been recovered, while the remaining vault assets are valued at roughly 30% of the OLP’s holdings before the incident.

The second phase is expected to draw primarily on additional funds recovered from the attacker and a share of Ostium protocol revenue. Ostium plans to disclose the revenue-sharing percentage and related arrangements by Oct. 30.
