Ethereum proposal EIP-8363 will not be included in the Hegotá hard fork after its co-authors withdrew it Oct. 2, and they said they plan a dedicated process for discussing the network’s issuance policy.

The proposal aimed to adjust issuance tied to validators in response to high staking concentration. Its authors said that concentration could affect Ethereum’s security and Ether’s (ETH) purchasing power.

The dedicated discussion mechanism has not yet been established. The co-authors’ next step is to create a process focused on Ethereum’s issuance policy.
