Fairblock launched CUSD, a stablecoin built on PYUSDx, with its first deployment on Arbitrum and features that let users conceal payment amounts and account balances.

CUSD supports public transfers as well as transfers that hide payment details. The project is supported by M0, PayPal, MoonPay and Predicate.

Potential uses include protecting payroll, treasury management and over-the-counter settlement information for institutions. Individuals can also conceal on-chain payment amounts and transaction flows.

Fairblock plans to use economic incentives to encourage adoption and expand use of CUSD’s privacy features. Further details are expected later.
