NEAR Protocol launched quantum-safe signing on its mainnet as NEAR Intents expanded support for post-quantum assets across more than 30 blockchain networks.

The feature is available to applications using a 1Click integration, giving developers a way to access assets across multiple chains through NEAR’s cross-chain infrastructure. NEAR Intents facilitates swaps between blockchain networks and lists more than $30 billion in all-time volume across 35 chains.

The rollout follows a $3.8 million exploit involving an interaction between the Omni system and a NEAR Intents smart contract. The contract flaw has been patched, and the team committed to reimburse affected users. No completion date has been announced.

The team contacted law enforcement and hired security specialists and blockchain analysts to help track the stolen assets. [NEAR Intents previously committed to reimburse users after the $3.8 million exploit](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/26175>).
