Enso is expanding access to tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds through an API that lets wallets, fintech companies and onchain applications add the assets through one integration.

Enso’s API handles routing and execution infrastructure, allowing connected products to provide tokenized assets without assembling those systems independently. Enso introduced the framework through its real-world asset app, which launched June 22 with integrations for xStocks and Ondo.

xStocks represent equities and ETFs through tokens including AAPLx, NVDAx, TSLAx and SPYx. The tokens are backed 1:1 by their underlying assets and issued across multiple supported blockchains, including Arbitrum.

The setup is aimed at distribution rather than the creation of a new equity product. Enso’s tools support transaction routing and decentralized finance actions, while applications use a single connection to add tokenized assets to their existing products.

“The tokenization industry has made enormous progress on issuance, custody, and compliance, but accessibility remains one of the biggest barriers to adoption,” Enso CEO and co-founder Connor Howe said. “Tokenized equities and ETFs are now onchain. The hard part is getting them into the products where users already are,” Enso said.

The development broadens the infrastructure available for tokenized assets across blockchain networks. [Earlier coverage examined xStocks’ expansion across multiple networks](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/24289>).

xStocks are not offered or available to U.S. persons.
