> The rollout adds interactive charts, calculators, forms and games, while GPT-6 Sol and Luna receive lower API prices.

OpenAI began rolling GPT-6 into ChatGPT on Oct. 7, giving paid users access to GPT-6 Sol while extending GPT-6 Luna to Free and Go users the following day.

The global rollout covers Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans in the Chat tab. Enterprise users may receive the models based on settings controlled by their workspace administrators. The models powering ChatGPT Work and Codex were unchanged.

The update also introduces Intelligent UI, which lets ChatGPT combine written responses with visuals and interactive features. Users can receive charts, diagrams, side-by-side comparisons, calculators, bill splitters, forms and games within a conversation.

ChatGPT can also begin responding while it continues reasoning or using tools, then add new findings without requiring another prompt. The feature expands the role of the chat interface beyond static text responses.

The ChatGPT rollout follows earlier announcements of GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna for ChatGPT Work and Codex. The Oct. 7 release notes describe their subsequent rollout in the Chat tab. OpenAI’s earlier model announcement had identified the models as unavailable in Chat, indicating a staged expansion.

The API charges $2 per 1 million input tokens and $10 per 1 million output tokens for GPT-6 Sol. GPT-6 Luna's API rates are $0.10 per 1 million input tokens and $0.50 per 1 million output tokens. Those prices are 50% lower than the listed promotional prices for GPT-5.6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Luna.

The release also advances [Intelligent UI in ChatGPT](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/27578>), which OpenAI is introducing alongside the broader GPT-6 rollout.

GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna replace GPT-5.6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Luna in ChatGPT. Both October releases are classified as high capability in cybersecurity and biological and chemical domains, while GPT-6 Astra remains the highest-capability model in the lineup.

Free and Go users are scheduled to begin receiving GPT-6 Luna on Oct. 8.
