> The attacker sold 2.01 million 79AU tokens, converted the proceeds into about 16,200 BNB and moved the funds away from the protocol.

CertiK Alert flagged a suspected attack on 79thVault involving privileged-function calls and the sale of 2.01 million 79AU tokens.

The attacker converted the proceeds into about 16,200 BNB and transferred the funds away from the protocol. Roughly 90% of the stolen assets remained in an address controlled by the attacker.

79thVault sent an on-chain message to the address and offered a 10% bounty in exchange for returning the remaining funds.

The incident centers on 79AU, the protocol’s token, and the use of privileged functions to sell a large token balance.
