Tether blacklisted four THORChain vaults holding $1.45 million in USDT, halting the protocol’s Tron swaps and liquidity-provider operations.

The action disrupted THORChain’s ability to process swaps involving Tron and stopped liquidity providers from operating through the affected vaults.

THORChain co-founder Chad Barraford said the team received no advance communication before the blacklist. The halt leaves the protocol’s Tron-related swap and liquidity operations suspended following Tether’s action.
