Papertrade plans to activate frontend trading at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC) on Oct. 10 after a HyperEVM network upgrade, moving the on-chain perpetuals platform from account preparation to live activity.

Deposits will pause briefly at 9:45 a.m. ET. The platform expects heavier traffic during the initial launch, which may lengthen confirmation times for small nominal trades. Users must deposit funds before trading begins.

The launch follows [Papertrade’s earlier deposit and account-creation rollout](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/28352>), which allowed users to prepare their accounts ahead of the expected start.

Papertrade will limit each atomic position to $10 million, while open-interest capacity will initially be set at $1 billion for each market and direction. Users can hold any number of positions within those parameters.

The fee configuration will use an asymmetric profit curve with a base rate of 0.1, a rate multiplier of 15,000, a rate exponent of 1 and a reference notional of 100,000 × k, with k set at 1 million.

A two-thirds multisignature wallet will administer the platform. Its powers include pausing new positions, freezing markets, changing parameters, upgrading contracts, adjusting open-interest capacity and modifying minimum margin requirements. Contract upgrades will remain subject to a seven-day timelock.

Trading is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, following completion of the HyperEVM upgrade.
