> The Base market lets eligible non-U.S. users borrow USDC against seven Coinbase-issued stock tokens, which cannot themselves be borrowed.

Coinbase’s tokenized stocks were deposited into Aave V4 over 17 days, adding $4.9 million in collateral to the protocol’s Base lending market for eligible non-U.S. users.

The assets are held in Aave’s Equities Hub, an isolated market where users can supply tokenized shares and borrow USD Coin (USDC). The stock tokens themselves are not borrowable.

The market supports tokenized versions of Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla. The corresponding tokens are AAPLc, AMZNc, GOOGLc, METAc, MSFTc, NVDAc and TSLAc.

The deposit follows the launch of [Aave V4’s Base Hub for tokenized-stock collateral](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/27621>). The market initially had approximately $29.3 million in collateral capacity, a $32 million USDC supply cap and a $21 million USDC borrowing cap.

Collateral factors range from 65% to 79%. Meta and Tesla carry 65% factors, followed by Nvidia at 70%, Amazon at 73%, Alphabet at 76%, Apple at 78% and Microsoft at 79%.

Coinbase Onchain SPV Ltd. issues the certificates, while Alpaca Securities LLC holds the underlying shares in segregated custody. Access is limited to eligible non-U.S. persons in permitted jurisdictions.

The structure allows users to seek USDC liquidity without selling their tokenized stock exposure. Chainlink supplies the pricing data, although the feeds retain their last published values during weekends and U.S. market holidays.
