> The call will cover Glamsterdam and Hegotá, but neither upgrade has a confirmed Ethereum mainnet activation date.

Ethereum developers will hold an All Core Devs Consensus call at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC) Oct. 15 to coordinate work on the planned Glamsterdam and Hegotá network upgrades.

The meeting is a developer coordination session, not an activation of either upgrade on Ethereum’s mainnet. Neither upgrade has a confirmed mainnet launch date.

Glamsterdam is currently being tested on devnets and has a target mainnet release in the fourth quarter of 2026. The upgrade is designed to improve processing speed and network capacity while reducing database growth. Its planned features include enshrined proposer-builder separation, which would build more of the block-production process into Ethereum’s protocol.

The upgrade’s next defined testing milestone was the Sepolia fork scheduled for Oct. 6 at 9:53:36 a.m. ET (13:53:36 UTC). Deployment dates for the Hoodi test network and Ethereum mainnet remain undetermined. The earlier Sepolia testing milestone was part of the same path toward a potential mainnet release.

Hegotá remains in the planning phase, with an expected mainnet release in the second quarter of 2027. That timing is not confirmed. Its main feature is fork-choice enforced inclusion lists, known as FOCIL, a mechanism intended to influence which transactions are included in blocks.

The upgrades are part of Ethereum’s development roadmap and are separate from market-price discussions. The $2,700 level referenced in technical commentary is not a price target in the roadmap, and the upgrade plans do not connect either release to a specific value for Ether (ETH).

The Oct. 15 call is the next scheduled coordination point for the two upgrades.
