# Higgsfield Says GPT-6 Astra Can Extend AI Videos Past 10 Minutes

Higgsfield said GPT-6 Astra can extend AI-generated videos from roughly one minute to more than 10 minutes, while new OpenAI models add visual control and a path toward voice-based filmmaking.

The creator platform cited GPT-Image-2.5 for more precise visuals and GPT-Live as a future step for producing films through voice commands. Voice filmmaking was described as a direction for development rather than a completed product.

The announcement does not provide technical benchmarks, pricing changes or broader rollout details for the capabilities. It also does not specify which workflows, customers or content types currently have access to the longer-video tools.

Founded in 2023 by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield offers tools for image generation, cinematic video production, marketing workflows and developer access to AI models. The company said Sept. 16 that its developer API provided access to more than 50 video and image models.

Higgsfield said Sept. 29 that it had reached a $1 billion annualized revenue run rate, with more than 32 million users and nearly 1 million paying subscribers.
