> The $299 HomeView hub recognizes household members and personalizes displayed information as Apple expands its connected-home ecosystem.

Apple’s expansion into Siri-powered home devices could lead to a new Services revenue stream as the company broadens its connected-home ecosystem beyond its existing hardware lineup.

Apple introduced the $299 HomeView hub on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The device runs Siri AI, recognizes individual household members and adjusts the information shown on its display based on who is using it.

HomeView can present personalized messages, contacts, calendar appointments, notes and preferred apps. Its ability to tailor the display for different residents gives Apple another way to connect household activity with its broader product ecosystem.

Apple Home integrates across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and HomePod. It also supports Matter accessories, allowing compatible devices to operate across multiple smart-home platforms.

The company presented the products at its “Welcome Home” event in New York. Apple began rolling out Siri AI in beta English-language support in September, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish planned for October.

Apple’s [Siri AI and Matter strategy](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/30282>) is designed to make connected-home controls easier to use while emphasizing privacy. The HomeView launch extends that strategy into a dedicated household display and hub.
