> The Oct. 13 estimate rose from 1,002.8 EH/s a day earlier. A June record-low hash price underscored the pressure miners faced earlier this year.

Bitcoin (BTC)’s estimated network hashrate rose to 1,075.4 exahashes per second on Oct. 13, following a decline of about 27% from its level in early October 2025 to early February 2026.

The estimate was up from 1,002.8 EH/s on Oct. 12. The daily figures do not establish whether the increase marks a sustained recovery in computing power devoted to the network.

Bitcoin’s estimated hashrate fell from about 1,160 EH/s in early October 2025 to 850 EH/s by early February 2026. The decline came amid a Bitcoin price correction, high mining difficulty, low transaction-fee revenue and higher energy costs, including temporary curtailments in Texas.

Average hash price, a measure of miner revenue per unit of computing power, reached a record low of $27.70 per petahash per second per day in June 2026. That figure reflects conditions at the time and does not establish miner revenue levels on Oct. 13.

Hashrate is inferred from block production and mining difficulty rather than measured directly. Because block discovery can vary from day to day, a single estimate can fluctuate; a longer-term average offers a clearer view of the network’s computing power.
