Former Mt.Gox CEO Mark Karpelès has assembled a public catalog of 14 Ledger hardware wallets tied to tampering or counterfeiting cases, creating a single index of devices flagged for security concerns.

Karpelès’ listings cover seven named sellers. Examples include devices with added circuitry and counterfeit units missing a security element, and each entry links to an underlying report. The page draws on public reports and images posted on X.

The catalog is a personal open-source intelligence project, not an official Ledger investigation conclusion. It also accepts submissions of additional cases.

Karpelès previously warned that altered Ledger devices could expose wallet recovery phrases, a concern covered in TokenPost’s [earlier report on his warning](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/29128>).
