> Reusable Space Templates can package phases, tasks and review checkpoints for matters such as mergers and acquisitions and quarterly compliance reviews.

Harvey launched Legal Work Orchestration on Oct. 15, giving legal teams a way to organize recurring matters into stages, assign tasks and route AI-assisted work through lawyer review.

Teams can use Space Templates to set up repeatable processes such as mergers and acquisitions or quarterly compliance reviews. A template can group phases, tasks, playbooks, agents, collaborators and review checkpoints in one matter. For a buy-side acquisition, a team can start from a Space that already contains relevant workflow steps instead of rebuilding the process from scratch.

Individual tasks can include matter context and comments, send notifications and accept updates by email. Lawyers can assign work to colleagues or share it with clients while keeping the related matter information attached.

In one example, an AI agent completes a change-of-control review and prepares a consent matrix. The designated partner is notified to review the work; once approved, the task is completed and the next step can begin. Agent work is designed to remain transparent and auditable.

Before Harvey II was released in August, a lawyer had to assemble documents, prepare instructions and manually pass along the output for each step delegated to Harvey. Harvey projects that agents will take on an extra 20% of workflow steps in six months and that their share will triple within a year. The figures are expectations, not reported results.
