STRK20 Shadow Accounts are now available on Opus, letting users borrow and manage positions without publicly connecting them to a primary wallet.

Each shadow account is a separate, user-controlled address on Starknet. It draws from a protected STRK20 balance, while the connection to the user’s main wallet remains private. The accounts support private borrowing.

The update builds on [Starknet’s shadow accounts for separating DeFi positions from primary wallets](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/31369>).

That separation does not make the account’s blockchain activity private. Balances, transaction histories and holdings inside applications remain visible on-chain, even when the address is not publicly tied to a user’s main wallet.
