> The handle is absent from Xaman’s published list of X accounts, and the wallet provider directs support requests to its app.

Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz warned XRP users Monday that the X account @Xaman_FDNT may be compromised or fraudulent, raising the risk of misleading messages from the handle.

“CAUTION: This is a compromised or scam account! @Xaman_FDNT,” Schwartz wrote on X. His warning named the account but did not explain what prompted the alert.

Xaman, an XRP-focused self-custody wallet, identifies @XamanWallet, @XamanHelp and @xrpllabs as its X channels. @Xaman_FDNT does not appear on that list. Schwartz did not identify the handle as an official Xaman account.

The wallet provider routes customer support through its in-app Support xApp and no longer handles support requests on X. It warns users against submitting forms circulated on social media or answering direct messages from people claiming to represent Xaman Support.

Xaman also says it has no Telegram account and does not run a rewards program.
