> The AI Companion and MCP Server are generally available, and the three products share a data model covering more than 80 asset and exposure types.

Axonius introduced its AI Workforce on Oct. 19, adding virtual workers to its Asset Cloud platform to monitor security environments, identify risks and carry out remediation within controls set by customers.

The catalog contains more than 50 worker types. Their tasks include threat intelligence, shadow AI tracking, data completeness, exposure triage and post-quantum cryptography readiness. Each worker tracks a metric tied to its assigned outcome, while a Daily Digest sorts changes and highlights items needing attention.

The AI Companion and Axonius MCP Server are also generally available. Companion users can ask plain-language questions about asset information and take actions in the same conversation, including opening tickets or tagging devices. The MCP Server makes Axonius asset data available to external AI tools, agents and automations.

Axonius introduced an AI Agent and MCP Server on July 21. The AI Agent was in preview, while the MCP Server was in early access. The company describes the AI Companion as an evolution of the AI Agent.

The three products share a reconciled, deduplicated asset model spanning more than 80 asset and exposure entity types. The model draws on more than 1,400 bidirectional integrations. Each customer has a private large language model instance in a dedicated environment, with an audit trail that distinguishes actions taken by AI workers from those taken by people.

Axonius Chief Product Officer Moshe Ben Simon said, “The question nobody is answering is what those AI agents are acting on.”
