Replika founder Eugenia Kuyda announced Oct. 19 that Wabi’s shared AI assistant was live, giving groups a way to create tools inside chats and optionally connect financial accounts.

Users can set up separate conversations for different tasks and invite other people to join them. Within a chat, Wabi can create a calendar, trip plan or tracker for the group to use.

The app is available for iOS, Android and Mac, and the service is currently free. An iOS AI messenger release on Sept. 28 preceded Kuyda’s announcement that the shared assistant was live.

Users can connect email and calendars to help the assistant complete requested tasks. They may also link a payment method or bank account. Google, Anthropic and OpenAI may process requests and connected data when carrying out those tasks.

Kuyda presented IO, a messaging concierge for travel and lifestyle requests, at Disrupt Europe in 2014. Wabi builds on that idea with tools created within conversations that can include multiple people.

Andreessen Horowitz led Wabi’s $20 million pre-seed funding round, announced Nov. 5, 2025.
