> Wallets tied to the April theft still held 56,569 ETH, worth about $138 million, after the latest deposits.

Wallets linked to the April 1 Drift Protocol hack sent at least $109 million in Ether (ETH) to Tornado Cash over two days, making the stolen assets harder to trace.

A tracked set of wallets deposited 25,710 ETH on Oct. 20 and another 18,800 ETH on Oct. 21. Those deposits totaled 44,510 ETH, valued at about $109 million when observed. That dollar value is roughly 37% of the $295 million lost in the attack.

Wallets identified as linked to the exploit still held 56,569 ETH, worth about $138 million, after the latest deposits. Tornado Cash makes the connection between deposited funds and later withdrawals harder to follow on the public blockchain.

The transfers involve assets taken in the April attack; they do not represent a new loss from Drift. The platform is a decentralized exchange on Solana, while the Ether transfers took place on Ethereum.

Drift opened claims and redemptions for its DFX recovery token on Oct. 1. Its recovery pool launched with about $3.1 million and receives exchange revenue and any funds recovered from the attack.
