> Purchased GMX would go to the staking rewards pool. The withdrawal rule would cover existing and new GMX and esGMX positions on Arbitrum and Avalanche.

Under GMX's GMLabs-003 proposal, Solana protocol revenue left after GT repurchases would fund GMX buybacks, while stakers on Arbitrum and Avalanche would face a 180-day wait to withdraw if the changes take effect.

Under the plan, all Solana protocol revenue remaining after the GT buyback would be used to purchase GMX. Tokens acquired in those purchases would then be added to the staking rewards pool.

The proposal covers existing and new GMX and esGMX staking positions on both networks. The 180-day countdown would begin when a user submits a withdrawal request; time already spent staking would not reduce the wait. A request could be canceled while pending.

The proposal targets a start on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with implementation dependent on technical readiness. It pairs a Solana revenue-allocation change with a separate withdrawal rule for stakers on Arbitrum and Avalanche.
