Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson introduced Quinelings, an experimental software project that represents programs as self-reproducing digital entities and lets users inspect the system’s calculations directly.

Each entity combines executable code with mathematics. The entities can perform tasks such as calculating roots and measuring water volume, with results users can check.

Quinelings runs on local computers under simulated conditions. Its software package has not been released on npm.
