> The work ranges from a live European Commission platform to systems under development, including medical imaging, labor-office tools and synthetic datasets.

NVIDIA detailed public-sector AI projects across Europe on Oct. 21, spanning medical imaging, government services and synthetic data at stages from a live platform to systems still being built. The initiatives combine NVIDIA hardware and software with locally developed models and tools, and include both operating services and projects in development.

At the European Commission, Berlin-based deepset is expanding the Haystack Enterprise Platform behind AI@EC, which runs on Commission-managed infrastructure. AI@EC is live and onboarding users. The expanded platform adds operating-cost comparisons, answer-quality checks and tools to trace problems; NVIDIA Triton supports information retrieval and ranking.

Poland's eHealth Centre is building a DGX BasePOD and MONAI system to review X-rays, CT scans and MRIs and flag urgent cases. Deloitte is helping Poland's labor ministry build AI tools intended for more than 400 labor offices. It is planned to use PLLuM, GPT OSS and Inkling for document searches, summaries and digital assistants.

In France, CANUT selected LINAGORA and Docaposte to provide the Twake.ai collaborative workspace through a procurement framework. The framework lets over 2,500 eligible public bodies, including local governments, schools and health care institutions, procure the workspace without a separate tender.

Materna's Sinfonie brings generative AI, spoken interaction and 3D avatars together in a system run on premises. It grew from a project for a North Rhine-Westphalia state administration. “Data sovereignty and modern AI experiences are not mutually exclusive,” said Thomas Feld, Materna's vice president of data management and AI.

Separately, secunet is working with NVIDIA, Red Hat and deepset on a cloud system for classified information that would operate in German data centers. The Nemotron-Personas-Germany dataset contains 1 million records, each with six synthetic personas, based on the 2022 census across 16 federal states and 400 districts.

The United Kingdom's Nemotron-Personas-UK dataset contains 1 million synthetic personas for testing and evaluating models across demographic and geographic groups. In Greece, KIEFER is developing an agentic factory using NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD with DGX GB200, Sophea open-weight models and Greek-language tools for knowledge retrieval, speech and digital assistants.
