> Pirate Chain's team linked the Oct. 14 mint to two validation flaws and made v6.0.14 mandatory for all network participants.

Pirate Chain has completed a rollback to block 4,176,944, removing about 39.82 million counterfeit Pirate Chain (ARRR) tokens from its ledger after they temporarily increased supply by roughly 20%.

The project made software release v6.0.14 mandatory across its network. The upgrade order covers users, node operators, miners, mining pools, exchanges and service providers. Participants must stop running older software because those versions will no longer operate on the network, leaving v6.0.14 as the required release.

Pirate Chain's team tied the mint to two validation vulnerabilities exploited on Oct. 14 in a transparent Coinbase pool. The flaws were fixed in v6.0.14. Community consensus backed the rollback, which was intended to restore supply integrity.

Pirate Chain is a privacy-focused blockchain. Its maximum supply remains capped at 200 million ARRR, even after the temporary supply expansion. The figure of about 20% describes the increase tied to counterfeit coins; it does not change the stated cap.
