> The proposal lets the attacker keep 30.652 ETH, about 10% of confirmed proceeds, if the funds are returned to a Cysic Foundation address.

Cysic is offering an attacker 30.652 Ether (ETH) to return 275.872 ETH within 72 hours, after saying the attacker minted 10 million CYS without authorization. The proposal sets a deadline for returning most of the ETH proceeds tied to the exploit.

The return must go to an address designated by the Cysic Foundation, and the 72-hour period begins when Cysic's notice was published on-chain. Cysic's figures put the requested repayment at about 90% of confirmed ETH proceeds. The remaining 30.652 ETH, about 10%, would stay with the attacker as a white-hat bounty under the proposal.

Cysic's announcement sets out a proposed settlement, with the bounty tied to the requested return. The repayment and proposed bounty account for the ETH proceeds identified in the offer.

Cysic said it has reconstructed key steps of the exploit and preserved technical and on-chain evidence. If the deadline passes without a return, Cysic said it will escalate the matter, seek law enforcement involvement and push for a full criminal investigation.
