> The Binance founder said software and technology can have flaws, and that taking action or doing nothing both involve risk.

Binance founder CZ said Thursday, Oct. 22, that no crypto wallet is completely secure, urging users to stay informed and manage risk because software and technology can have flaws.

He said taking action carries risk, but doing nothing does too. Problems, setbacks and unresolved issues are inevitable, he wrote, and users should work to address them.

The comments follow his earlier [crypto custody guide](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/29662>), which recommends choosing a custody setup based on holdings and technical ability. The guide also warns against saving private keys in photos or screenshots that may sync to cloud services.

It recommends securing recovery information and planning for inheritance. For exchange accounts, it lists safeguards such as strong passwords, two-factor authentication and withdrawal address allowlists.
