# MetaEdge Announces International Launch of The NEST App

MetaEdge announced the international launch of The NEST on Friday, Oct. 23, describing the app as a way for households to contribute spare network capacity to enterprise AI data pipelines and potentially earn rewards.

MetaEdge said The NEST runs on one home device and lets participants share a controlled portion of idle internet bandwidth, including home Wi-Fi. The company did not disclose reward amounts, calculation rules or payout timing, and its announcement did not identify a blockchain or token connected to rewards.

MetaEdge said an invite-only test involved thousands of users across more than 30 countries. It did not provide an exact participant count, test dates or methodology.

“Every home can have a place in the AI economy,” said Wesley Blom, International CEO of MetaEdge.

MetaEdge, which said it has operated as an enterprise web-data business since 2023, named Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa as priority expansion regions. Its longer-term roadmap may also include household cloud storage and computing resources, but the company gave no timetable for those features.
