> Minterest contracts remain open for repayments and withdrawals, while Immutable X migrated eligible funds and Polygon zkEVM’s claims portal covers wallet-held assets.

Users facing shutdowns across crypto networks have different paths to recover funds: Minterest contracts remain usable, Immutable X completed an eligible-fund migration, and Polygon zkEVM offers claims only for wallet-held assets.

A DeFi interface is a way to interact with smart contracts. Closing the interface does not automatically close those contracts, while a network that stops producing blocks may require users to follow a migration or claims process. The available route depends on where the assets were held and which functions remain open.

Minterest took its interface offline at 6:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 19, 2025 (11:59 p.m. UTC). Its contracts still allow repayments and withdrawals as long as the underlying chains operate. The protocol’s core infrastructure, including its solvency engine, shut down Dec. 31, 2025.

Contract withdrawals can still be constrained by liquidity. Withdrawals may be blocked when nearly all supplied assets have been borrowed and little or no free liquidity remains. Interest continues to accrue on contracts after the interface closes.

Immutable X ended manual withdrawals Feb. 11, 2026. It completed an automated migration of eligible remaining funds to Immutable zkEVM from March 5-9. Users who started a withdrawal by the deadline but did not complete its final step on Ethereum have a separate manual claim process for funds still held in the bridge.

Polygon zkEVM’s sequencer sunset July 3, 2026, and the network no longer produces blocks. Its claims portal covers qualifying assets held directly in a user-controlled wallet at the time of shutdown. Assets held in DeFi contracts, multisig wallets or third-party bridges are excluded and must be handled through the relevant application or service.

The portal is scheduled to remain available through Dec. 31, 2027. Across these cases, a website closure, a completed migration and a network shutdown leave users with different recovery routes.
