> Tradernet's version 2026-06 guide lists 61 tools, including functions for account reviews, market queries and order management.

Freedom24 opened its Tradernet brokerage platform to AI assistants on Aug. 12 through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), giving compatible applications access to live account information, market data and trading functions.

MCP lets an AI assistant use tools provided by another service. Freedom24 named Claude Code, Cursor and Codex among the applications that can connect to Tradernet. A client can use the connection to examine portfolio holdings, check market information and review trading history.

Tradernet's guide, labeled version 2026-06, lists 61 tools. Alongside account and market queries, the list includes reports and alerts. It also includes tools to place or cancel orders and set stop-loss instructions. Those actions operate against real accounts, orders and funds.

The range of tools makes the distinction between reviewing information and changing an account consequential. A portfolio summary draws on account data; an order instruction uses a trading function. Transfers and withdrawals are unavailable through MCP.

Freedom24 has stated that every trading order requires client confirmation. Its optional Codex plugin adds approval prompts for specified order and tariff actions, watchlists, alerts, report uploads, user switching and authentication. A basic MCP setup may lack the plugin's client-side prompts by default.

Clients can use the available data to summarize past trades or review a portfolio. More elaborate dashboards that combine Tradernet information with other applications require separately configured services; they are user-built workflows, rather than ready-made Freedom24 features. The MCP service does not store users' API keys or passwords.
