> DreamScript can work from novels up to 100,000 Chinese characters and generate as many as 100 episodes. A remake tool creates new visuals for selected regions, styles and formats.

ByteDance launched 即梦短剧工作室 on Oct. 26, bringing AI scriptwriting, storyboarding and video tools into one service that can also remake completed short dramas for regional markets, including overseas releases.

The studio’s DreamScript model can analyze novels up to 100,000 Chinese characters and generate as many as 100 episodes in sequence. It can also check for plot conflicts and review character settings.

DreamShot provides a 3D planning space for adjusting camera positions and movement and previewing shots. A reusable library organizes characters, clothing and locations, and users can regenerate individual shots.

For a regional remake, users upload a completed drama. The system identifies its characters, settings, props and shots, then generates new visuals for a chosen region, style and aspect ratio. The process aims to preserve the original’s pacing and shot language.

Many of the studio’s features were already available in [小云雀](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/business/40161>), which introduced a short-drama agent in March and had a remake feature by August.
