> The interface gives each bot a workstation and one-click task controls. It was discussed alongside separate open-source projects that monitor coding agents.

Developer 0xRafy posted about a pixel office for Grok Bot on X Tuesday, Oct. 27, where users can oversee connected agents' activity and control task approvals.

The interface assigns each linked bot a desk, monitor and laptop. Users can see which bots are coding, working or asleep, then act on tasks through the controls. A Grok Bot account connection is required, but the post did not specify the permissions involved.

Grok Bot, an xAI agent, can sign in to users’ tools and carry out tasks for them. It also has an [Auto Review setting](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/29594>) that can request user approval before potentially risky actions. Team and enterprise administrators can add approval requirements and network restrictions.

Pixel Agents, an open-source project released under the MIT license in February 2026, has more than 9,900 GitHub stars. It turns Claude Code sessions into animated characters that type while files are edited and read during searches; subagents and Claude team members appear as separate characters. Its standalone version can open a terminal and launch Claude Code in a browser, and users can customize the office with floors, furniture and pets. A mid-October update also lets users add the standalone version to a phone’s home screen. Pixel Agents supports Claude Code, with Codex, Gemini and Cursor listed as planned additions.

Claude-Office, which has about 300 GitHub stars, lets users approve permission requests inside its office view and shows task lists and usage measures. It can turn the full office red when a deployment fails, while its whiteboard displays current tasks and its gauges represent spending, token use and context use. Agent Virtual Office has about 60 stars and runs in a browser. It can monitor Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or CI activity, marking agents as working, blocked or idle.

Some tools process activity locally. Pixel Agents receives events through Claude Code hooks or local conversation files, and its standalone server defaults to 127.0.0.1, an address limited to the user’s device; allowing local network access requires a configuration change. Claude-Office also sends events to a local server. Pixel Agents warns that disabling permission prompts carries security risks.
