The Stellar Development Foundation's Q3 2026 report put Stellar's average monthly active developer count at 3,661, up 170% year over year. It also recorded 3,922 monthly active developers on Sept. 30, a record and a 125% increase from a year earlier.

The report's Q3 average for full-time developers was 475, up 30% year over year. The 3,922 figure is a Sept. 30 reading; the figures of 3,661 and 475 are averages across the quarter.

The Foundation's Q2 report put Stellar at 2,968 monthly active developers as of June 30 and ranked it No. 2 globally, ahead of Solana and Bitcoin. That ranking dates to the second quarter.
