> Contributors whose information helps recover funds may qualify; an exploiter who returns all funds may keep 20%.

zkLink is setting up a recovery bounty after a recent security incident affecting zkLink Nova, with rewards for researchers and white-hat contributors whose information materially helps recover funds.

Qualifying contributors may receive up to 20% of the amount recovered. That figure is a ceiling: zkLink will decide eligibility and payout amounts based on the value of the information provided.

The exploiter may keep 20% if all funds are returned. zkLink says it will take no further legal action concerning the returned funds.

The plan follows an incident that drained about $786,000 in assets. zkLink had earlier offered the exploiter 20% to return the funds after the [Nova bridge attack](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/43193>). The current bounty also allows outside contributors to seek rewards for useful recovery information.

Researchers and contributors can contact zkLink through its official X account or email.
