> Ludo Robotics presented the system at the symposium. CH Kim, CEO of Krafton and Ludo Robotics, described it as a research demonstration not yet reliable enough for everyday use.

Ludo Robotics presented its Ludi 0.2 system at the 2026 Bay Area Robotics Symposium at UC Berkeley on Oct. 30. The system is designed to help robots understand and collaborate with people.

The updated system covers social intelligence, memory and reasoning, tool coordination, gesture interpretation and movement in supported environments. No numerical performance results were reported for those capabilities.

CH Kim, CEO of Krafton and Ludo Robotics, described Ludi as a research demonstration that is not yet reliable enough for everyday use.

Kangwook Lee, Krafton’s chief AI officer and Ludo’s chief technology officer, said Ludi 0.2 represents another step toward bringing “conversation, reasoning and physical action together.”

Ludo is applying its experience with AI and interactive virtual worlds to robotics. Krafton is the South Korean game publisher behind PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.

Ludi 0.1 combined interactive speech, multimodal reasoning, memory, navigation and learned manipulation. The Ludi 0.2 presentation described advances in areas including reasoning and physical movement.
