CoinSwitch said its service had returned to normal on Oct. 30 after a spike in platform traffic caused a temporary disruption, adding that customer funds and crypto assets remained safe.

“The temporary disruption was caused by a spike in platform traffic,” the company said in an Oct. 30 post. CoinSwitch also said services were operating as usual.

The company did not disclose when the disruption began, how long it lasted, how many users were affected or whether it had a financial impact. Its post gave no time of day for the disruption or the return to normal service.
