> The dashboard listed 183 registered merchants and 5,318 live services, but does not show unique buyers or the XRP-RLUSD split.

A dashboard tracking x402 activity on the XRP Ledger displayed 14,771,587 under “Volume settled” and $45,276.29 in settled value at 9:32 a.m. ET (13:32 UTC) Oct. 31. It also listed 183 registered merchants and 5,318 live services.

The count was 223,919 higher than the [Oct. 19 snapshot](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/technology/35000>), while the merchant total rose by 10. The current dashboard does not display historical readings, so the comparison is between separate snapshots.

A dollar-value display was added Oct. 21. It values XRP using each day’s closing rate against Ripple USD (RLUSD) on the ledger. The displayed total does not show what share settled in XRP versus RLUSD.

The figures also do not identify how many unique buyers or agents made payments, or how many payers were autonomous. The dashboard captures activity tracked by its index and does not represent every AI-agent payment on the XRP Ledger.

The settlement count needs context because the dashboard counts each session in its batch feature as one settlement, even when the session includes multiple paid requests. From Oct. 14 to 17, the feature handled 213,008 paid requests across 3,162 sessions, alongside 6,324 ledger transactions.

The batch feature is in closed beta, is limited to onboarded merchants and registered payers, and settles only in RLUSD. Its session-based count therefore does not correspond one-for-one with paid requests.

x402 is a payment flow for accessing online services, including API calls and AI model inference. Ripple’s XRPL AI Starter Kit, announced June 9, supports x402 payments in XRP or RLUSD.

A transaction’s SourceTag identifies the paid endpoint, not the agent making the payment. The dashboard’s figures show settlement activity, but do not establish how many autonomous agents are using the system or whether that activity directly benefits XRP holders.
