The FBI attributed the theft of more than $6.3 billion from Binance to North Korea-linked hacking group TraderTraitor and urged crypto services to block transactions tied to hundreds of identified addresses.

An FBI notice issued Saturday lists more than 600 Ethereum addresses, fewer than 20 Bitcoin addresses and one Solana address that have held funds from the theft. The FBI called on THORNode and RPC node operators, swap services, decentralized finance platforms, blockchain analytics firms and other virtual asset providers to reject transactions involving those addresses and connected wallets.

The FBI said the attackers had mainly converted stolen assets into Ether and may turn to swap services and decentralized finance tools to move more funds. The notice was issued jointly with the U.S. Secret Service and IRS Criminal Investigation.

Binance said it had replenished about 90% of the stolen crypto assets and planned to resume user withdrawals Sunday.
