> SomaXBT estimated about $242 million moved through Tron in two days, with Ether and Bitcoin as destinations.

The FBI attributed the Binance hack to North Korean group TraderTraitor and urged THORChain node operators to block related transfers amid an estimated $242 million laundering trail on Tron.

About $242 million in stolen funds moved through Tron over two days. Funds moved mainly through THORChain, Relay, Chainflip and Symbiosis, then were converted into Ether (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC). About $194 million left Tron through bridges and swap services, including about $48 million via Relay, $32.1 million via Chainflip and $16 million via Symbiosis.

An FBI alert issued Oct. 31 with the U.S. Secret Service and IRS Criminal Investigation urged RPC node operators, instant-swap platforms, decentralized finance services and blockchain analytics firms to block transactions involving addresses tied to the theft or funds derived from them.

The alert identified 608 Ethereum addresses, 19 Bitcoin addresses and one Solana address; it listed no Tron addresses. The FBI said it expected the hackers to continue moving funds through decentralized finance and instant-exchange services.
